Members of Fractured Atlas
When you opt to become a member of Fractured Atlas you must first complete a membership application, which requires you to submit contact information (i.e. email and snail mail address), demographic information (i.e. what type of arts professional you are), and certain unique identifiers (i.e. social security number. We only ask for such information as is necessary for the provision of member services, and we use it in the provision of those services. Among the benefits of membership is access to several "premium" features of the fracturedatlas.org web site, including the ability to submit news releases, apply for fiscal sponsorship, post listings to the Job Center, and more. The processes involved in using each of these "premium" features requires the submission of some additional information. That additional information, too, is only collected when it is necessary to provide the services in question, and will be used for the provision of those services.

News Distribution Lists
When you sign up to receive targetted news releases or news bulletins, you must submit your email address. In order to prevent the malicious abuse of the automated sign up features for these distribution lists, users will be required to confirm their subscriptions by responding to a message sent to the email address submitted. These email addresses are used exclusively for distributing said news releases and news bulletins. You have the option of removing your email address from any news distribution list at any time, which removal will be effective automatically, immediately, and permanently (unless or until you decide to sign up again at some time in the future).
