Marie Ortiz, Program Director, Healthcare
As Fractured Atlas' Program Director for Healthcare, Marie Ortiz manages healthcare options for a national community of artists. She develops broad strategies to increase access to low-cost quality healthcare by educating health insurance providers about artists' needs and securing improved benefits through innovative plan design. Marie assists artists directly by providing customer service and expert guidance in navigating the healthcare enrollment process. Marie grew up in Northern NJ and will receive her Masters of Professional Studies for Arts and Cultural Management at Pratt Institute in spring 2008.
