Christine is an amazing installation artist. Her “13,699″ project is absolutely stunning…and really lends a visual representation to the world’s water crisis. Check out more pictures from this Art for Water project here: http://changents.com/christine-destrempes
Thank you, Eleanor, for your tireless support.
Christine has managed to create an evocative work that captures the beauty and peacefulness of flowing water…but that hits us in the gut with her message about the water crisis delivered through more than 13,699 water bottle caps. Stunning, powerful. See more about this and her work at http://www.destrempes.com/
Christine’s “13,699″ is breath taking in its beauty and message. Walk inside the waterfall of bottle caps and experience a quiet peace but then recognize each cap represents the loss of one life for lack of clean water and feel the overwhelming power of the piece. Stunning and moving.
“13,699″ is stunningly beautiful, and then I found myself being overwhelmed by the tragic truth underlying it. Thank you, Christine.
I’ve changed my daily habits, and encouraged others to do the same as a result of this installation. This installations beauty is just as powerful as it’s message. I’m really proud of you Ma!
Christine Destrempes ability to conceptualize is as big as the big picture, and that is not something you see every day–installation art that is at once compelling AND beautiful.
