Upcoming Webinar on Fiscal Sponsorship for Artists and Arts Organizations: Everything You Need to Know
As part of their online training courses, the Foundation Center is hosting a webinar on fiscal sponsorship for artists and arts organizations on Wednesday, October 6th at 6pm EST.
The webinar will go over fiscal sponsorship, the benefits, how you can find a fiscal sponsor, and how to decide if it’s right for you. I am presenting this one hour webinar and will discuss the fiscal sponsorship arrangement under which a charitable project without 501(c)(3) might benefit from the tax-exempt status and administrative support of a sponsorship organization, including:
- The pros and cons of fiscal sponsorship
- How to assess if fiscal sponsorship is right for you
- What to look for in a fiscal sponsor (agreements, mechanics, ownership)
