Fractured Atlas is headed to the Create Denver Expo

Fractured Atlas is offering a two workshops at the Create Denver Expo on Saturday, May 14th.

Adam Natale is hosting The Artist’s Survival Guide at 2:45pm in the Grey Room at the Wellington E. Webb Municipal Office Building.

In the Artist’s Survival Guide workshop, attendees (artists, arts organizations, and other creative professionals) will learn about key services, programs, and resources that can help them with the business side of their art — the “unsexy” side that artists generally do not like thinking about.  The discussion will include on overview of services offered through Fractured Atlas and an overview of 10-20 other local, state, and national organizations that offer resources artists and organizations can take advantage of. Adam will then be answering questions about the following: arts advocacy/civic engagement, fundraising, jobs in the arts and in arts administration specifically, tips on grantwriting, social media/new technology, topics/issues in the field, networking, young/emerging arts leaders and how they can advance their careers, general career and resume guidance, getting and serving on a Board of Directors, etc.

I am hosting the Introduction to Fiscal Sponsorship and Fundraising at 12:30pm in the White Room.  The session is designed for anyone who is interested in using fiscal sponsorship including individuals, emerging organizations, the general public, currently sponsored projects, and potential applicants to the Fractured Atlas fiscal sponsorship program. The session is designed to explore the benefits and use of Fractured Atlas’s fiscal sponsorship program as a fundraising tool. The session will include an overview of fiscal sponsorship and how to apply, how to use the tools within the program, and an introduction to fundraising.
