My partners and I are developing a new state-of-the-art performing- and visual-arts center in Old Louisville, Vault1031, in an old armored-car company building. I will try to attend, though I am booked till 5:30 on Thursday. We at Vault1031 are very interested in hearing more about Fractured Atlas and its programs.
Not sure of my interest because Fractured Atlas sounds like it’s more focused on performing arts than visual arts. My art (acrylics on canvas) focuses on the urban scene, and I go around to art shows to sell my work. How would Fractured Atlas help me widen my audience?
Jon–if you (or one of your partners) can make it on Thursday we would love to see you! If you can’t make it, send an email to me at support@fracturedatlas.org and I’ll get you in touch with our staff members who will be down there in case they have some time during the day to schedule a time to chat.
David–we serve artists of all disciplines! We currently have about 6000 visual artists amongst the membership, in fact, and we have a number of ways that we may be able to help. Depending on your situation, we may be able to help with fundraising assistance, insurance advice, or some of our professional development classes. If you would like to talk more please feel free to send us an email at support@fracturedatlas.org!
