WORDS OF CHOICE FILM is an adaptation of a widely-seen pro-choice touring show. Three actresses tell a variety of stories -- sad and humorous -- about reproductive freedom, written by a dozen writers -- Kathy Najimy, Angela Bonavoglia, Kathleen Tolan, Cindy Cooper, The Onion. 60 minutes.
Film Screening to be followed by a Discussion about Reproductive Freedom with Artists and Activists: Cindy Cooper, creator of Words of Choice; Stephanie Morin of the Women's Liberation Birth Control Project; and Anita Schillhorn, producer of Vessel, a film-in-progress.
Free; Bluestockings passes a basket to cover its expenses. No one is turned away for lack of funds.
This event is presented in conjunction with SWAN: Support Women Artists Now -- nationwide events of women artists initiated by The Fund for Women Artists.
