The Sphinx Winx, a new musical, will open on April 25 as an AEA Showcase at the Kaufman Theater at Algonquin, 123 East 24th Street, NYC; there will be a limited run.
The comedic fable will be staged and directed by Matthew Hamel and choreographed by Tara Jeanne Vallee. Rich Siegel will direct the music.
Twelve actors will play twenty-two roles, as we are transported to the enchanted “Land of the Nile.” Ancient pyramids and the stretching of history add flavor to this musical romp.
