Performance Space 122 presents the New York City premiere of PAN PAN, Ireland's number one avant garde theatre group, as part of their acclaimed world tour of "Oedipus Loves You".
Called "wickedly funny and wonderfully theatrical" by the Irish Times, Oedipus Loves You is a thoroughly 21st century take on the classic story of family dysfunction. Royal festivals are replaced by backyard barbecues, and wise prophet Tiresias is transformed into a glam-rock Freudian analyst who works it in a pair of stilettos.
Oedipus Loves You features stellar performances, high-tech multi-media manipulation, and hair-raising rock and roll written by Gordon Is a Mime and performed live on stage by the cast.
