Follow Your Star: Vocal Workshop and Auditions

Greetings!
STSANY is planning:
an INTERNATIONAL CABARET SHOWCASE;
a CONCERT IN REMEMBRANCE OF SEPTEMBER 11TH;
a FALL MUSICAL THEATRE PRODUCTION;
CONCERTS OF MUSIC, DANCE, DRAMA AND POETRY CELEBRATING HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH (September-October);
and November-December-January HOLIDAY CONCERTS to include soloists and THE STSANY JOYFUL NOISE CAROLERS, among other events during 2012-2013. We are anxious to interview those interested in performing at various venues, i.e., theatres, outreach, schools, etc. Here's your chance to get out there and do what you love most with other STSANY members. SONGS IN VARIOUS LANGUAGES ARE A PLUS!
Please bring 2 songs you know well (complete sheet music with accompaniment: A ballad and an uptune: All musical styles -two copies, please), and or:
2 monologues (comic and dramatic - 2 copies, please), and or:
A segment of your cabaret act (self-contained act). Singers, Actors, Dancers, Instrumentalists, i.e., pianists or piano bar performers, guitarist and guitarist-singers are welcome.
Time: 6:00-8:00 p.m. VOCAL WARM-UP/ Coaching/Auditions will be on a first come-first served basis. Please arrive 10 minutes before the meetup, as elevators are busy at that hour.(This will be repeated, on Saturdays, June 23 and 30 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and other dates. Cost: $20 at the door (Cash: Exact Amount): ACCOMPANIST PROVIDED
