Annual general liability insurance is necessary for organizations that are consistently working in environments that require insurance coverage (rented venues, schools, etc.). It mainly covers against damage to rented/owned spaces and injury to spectators who attend the organization's events. It can also cover injury to performers upon request (the same coverage provided under Volunteer Accident insurance, as required by Actors Equity Association for Equity Showcases).
