How much does it cost?
Each policy must be individually underwritten by the insurance company, so we can't guarantee a particular rate in advance. However, the rates for film policies are generally consistent. The general liability insurance is usually $350 (not including our binder fee) and equipment insurance is generally rated at about $.60 per $100 worth of equipment plus $250 (not including the binder fee). These rates are extremely competitive, if not the best on the market, as this program was designed especially for Fractured Atlas members -- no one else has access to these policies. Adding Rental Reimbursement insurance to the policy will automatically add $250 to the premium. Adding Negative Loss insurance to this policy will automatically add $800 to the premium. All film and equipment policies are annual. Films with stunts and/or pyrotechnics might receive a higher premium for the liability insurance.
