What are the eligibility requirements for HIP?

You must be a Fractured Atlas member and live in New York City, Long Island, Westchester, Rockland or Orange Counties.

You also must be able to document self-employed or sole proprietorship status. Qualifying documentation includes one of the following:

  1. A signed copy of last year’s tax return (complete 1040 with Schedule C or Schedule SE) or
  2. A signed copy of last year’s tax return complete 1120S with Schedule K-1 or 1065 with Schedule K-1 (for partnerships with only 1 person working 20 or more hours) or
  3. A new business certificate, and SS-4 with EIN (Employer Identification Number), and a letter from a CPA stating all of the following: name, EIN, the date the business was effective, when and what type of income tax forms are expected to be filed in the next year.
