How long does it take to receive my materials?
You can expect to receive materials within 3-4 weeks after your application has been processed by HIP. If you haven't received your ID card yet, you technically can take advantage of plan benefits on the effective start date of coverage. If need to see a doctor, providers can verify your eligibility by using your social security number with the numbers "01" tacked on to the end.
