If I don't pay, what happens?

If your monthly premium is not received by the 1st of the month, there is a 30-day grace period. If you have not paid in full within 30 days, your coverage will be terminated for nonpayment. The effective date of the termination will be the last day of the last month for which you paid.

For instance, on July 5th, you’ll receive your bill for September coverage for which payment is due on August 1st. if payment is not received by the end of the grace period, August 31st for September coverage, the effective termination date is August 31st.

Note: if your coverage is terminated for nonpayment, you will be ineligible to re-enroll for 12 months.
