How far in advance of my intended coverage effective date can I apply for a quote?
You can apply for a quote at any time, but we generally recommend applying no earlier than three to six months before the time you need the insurance to begin. Once the quote is issued and sent to you, it does not need to be purchased immediately (though it can be). The quote will remain in effect until the start date you requested. Some quotes only stay in effect for 30-60 days, but we can generally reproduce the quote if necessary without your needing to reapply. If you received a quote and you believe it to be expired, please contact our office before submitting a new application. Once you put in a quote request through our website, it can take as little as two to five business days to process everything, but we prefer that members allot at least ten business days (two weeks) just in case any unforeseen problems arise.
