What's the difference between the Creative and Organizational Development categories?
Creative Development Grants are made to Fractured Atlas members who need funding for specific expenses relating to artistic exploration or training but not connected to any particular project. Priority will be given to artists/arts organizations who demonstrate a commitment to fostering an environment of artistic risk-taking and ongoing exploration. Organizational Development Grants are made to members who need funding for specific expenses relating to increasing the organizational strength and stability of emerging arts organizations. Priority will be given to artists/arts organizations who demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to their own organizational independence and continuity.
