Jeccabarry Fringe Project

Jeccabarry Theatre Kompani is a physical theatre company based in the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq. Using the elements of clown, bouffon, and the absurd JTK is creating their first full-length production at the Philadelphia Fringe and LiveArts Festival 2010. We hope to introduce non-gendered clown and bouffon-esque characters on stage this summer in an examination of social media, isolation, and loss of innocence. Through comedy and the innocence of clown we will demonstrate that non-heteronormal realities exist, and are powerful and of great value.
