Shantz Theatre Adds 2 New Company Members
CHICAGO – Shantz Theatre is proud to announce the additions of Kenny Metroff and Vicki Kunz as Company Members. They will add a new dimension and enthusiasm to help the company move forward.
Mr. Metroff is originally from Bloomington/Normal, IL and is a graduate of Illinois State University. Since arriving in Chicago in 2005, Kenny has been an active member of the improv and sketch community. He is a graduate of iO and The Second City and can be seen around town performing with Three Legged Race, Veronica, or simply supporting the Bears.
Kenny has appeared in three Shantz Theatre productions to-date. He made his debut with the company at the Indianapolis Fringe Festival in the 2005 production of The Candid Biography of a Single Chess Table Chosen at Random on an Ambiguous Spring Day in Central Park. Kenny next appeared in last winter’s holiday sketch show Requiem for a Department Store, or how Jesus taught me to shop at Macy’s. He can currently be seen in No-EL or how The BlagojeGrinch stole Christmas
Ms. Kunz hails from Lake in the Hills, IL and is a graduate of Monmouth College. Vicki has been a part of several Shantz Theatre productions including Burying Mom, Deviled Eggs, Requiem for a Department Store or How Jesus Taught me to Shop at Macy's, A Year in the Life of 25 Strangers Living in a City by the Lake, and The Van Gogh Exhibit. Vicki is a graduate of The Second City, a veteran of Chicago Sketch Fest, and a skilled text message fiend. Her other credits include writing, directing and performing with her sketch comedy group Commedia delle Principesse.
Kenny and Vicki can both currently be seen in Shantz Theatre’s critically acclaimed holiday sketch show No-EL, or how The BlagojeGrinch stole Christmas. The show is at Gorilla Tango Theatre and runs through December 23rd.
Vicki and Kenny join current company members Matt Fotis, Jeanette Nielsen, Adal Rifai and Kyle Anderson.
