Same Planet Different World Dance Theatre is dedicated to presenting the most perfect embodiment of dance—dance that is evocative, and that is at the same time both challenging and enjoyable. SPDW Dance acknowledges that the audience is as important to the dance as the movements and steps themselves. The company presents work that is inspiring, vibrant and relevant. SPDW’s intriguing repertoire consists of work from formidable Chicago artists as well as choreographers from across the nation, with styles that incorporate classical and contemporary modern dance, jazz and improvisational experimentation.

Chicago – Same Planet Different World Dance Theatre, Chicago’s most innovative repertory company,
is holding company auditions on Monday, June 2, 2008 at Visceral Dance Studio, 2820 N. Elston Ave. in
Chicago from 10am to 1pm.
SPDW Dance is looking for two women and two men to join as apprentices or full company
members. Please bring a resume and photo to audition. Dancers must be of advanced/
professional level, versatile in ballet, modern and jazz, and be 18 years or older. Company
members are paid for rehearsals and performances. Please check out our website at
