Member News Release

Dancers and crew needed for a new videodance short entitled "Fünf 'n' Twist" by Anna Brady Nuse. This experimental video chronicles the emotional turbulence of a teenage couple at the prom, using dance, ritualized movement, evocative sounds and imagery. Shoot dates will be Thursday and Friday Aug 14th & 15th in the Washington Heights area.

Talent:
6-10 dancers (equal numbers girls and boys) for the prom scenes. Must be able to dance (or be comfortable moving), and could pass for a prom-goer. Having your own prom dress or tux is also a plus, and you must be available between 8am-5pm on Aug 14th and 15th. Pay will be $75/day. Crew positions:
Production Manager: Responsible for assisting the director/producer with pre-production planning and managing all the logistics of the production for a short experimental dance video. Will coordinate cast and crew, and stay on top of the budget and time schedule during the production. Must be available 8am-8pm Aug 13th-15th as well as for some preliminary planning work leading up to these days. Fee commensurate with experience. Production Designer/Art Director: For a '60's era prom scene in a short experimental dance video. Must be resourceful, and able to make magic with a small budget! Must be available 8am-8pm Aug 13th-15th and for planning meetings with the director & DP leading up to these days. Fee commensurate with experience. Production Assistants: For video shoot Aug 14th & 15th 8am-8pm. Also need prep help all day Aug 13th. No pay, but a great way to gain experience and skills. You will be given credit in the film and fed!
