FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE TOMI FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES 2009 LOCATION DATES AND CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS February 12th – 14th, 2009 Phoenix, Arizona NEW YORK, NY (August 5, 2008) – TOMI Film Festival has announced today the location, dates and call for submissions for the 2nd annual TOMI Film Festival being held February 12th – 14th, 2009 during the NBA All Star weekend. As this is the film festival that travels, our 2009 destination is Phoenix, Arizona. Deadlines to submit to the 2009 TOMI Film Festival are: SUBMISSIONS OPEN August 5th, 2008 EARLY BIRD DEADLINE September 8th, 2008 OFFICIAL DEADLINE October 13th, 2008 LATE DEADLINE November 10th, 2008 "We're excited to be headed to sunny Phoenix for our 2nd time around" says Co-Founder Tonisha Johnson. "It's going to be great to see what Arizona has to offer to the filmmaking world". 'Rise Up, Resurrect & Show the World Who You Really Are' is our 2009 TOMI Film Festival theme; a great choice for the Valley of the Sun state. In addition, the host hotels for the 2009 year are Downtown Phoenix' Hotel San Carlos and the Crowne Plaza Phoenix Airport whose location will be an actual stop on the Light Rail in 2009.
