Dance Parade New York is a celebration of the history of dance- beginning with the most ancient forms of dance and ending with contemporary and urban styles. Dance Parade New York includes more than 70 styles of dance, ranging from classical ballet to hip-hop and is a colorful explosion of beautiful costumes, decorative floats, lively music and joyous dancers

 

A post-parade festival in Tompkins Square Park will feature live performances, lessons and a dance party with DJ's.
