Fractured Atlas Update

by Adam Natale in Winter 2007

A few changes have happened recently at Fractured Atlas that we are very pleased to announce.

Marie Ortiz, who had previously been our Administrative Assistant, is now our new Director of Healthcare! Let's all welcome her into her new position!

We're also pleased to welcome Dianne Debicella as our new full-time Administrative Assistant. Dianne is a photographer who comes to us from Pratt Institute, where she is currently earning a Master's Degree in Arts and Cultural Management. Prior to Pratt, she attended the Massachusetts College of Art.

We'd also like to congratulate Adam Natale, our Director of Member Services, on his recent election to the Emerging Leader Council of Americans for the Arts, a leading national arts advocacy organization. The Emerging Leader Council is an advisory body to Americans for the Arts and assists in developing programs and resources to promote the growth, development, and sustenance of emerging arts professionals nationwide.

And, speaking of our staff, whenever you contact us via email, be sure that all email addresses that end with fracturedatlas.org are added to the trusted/safe lists within your SPAM filters. Due to an increase in SPAM this year, we've found that some of you (specifically those with Hotmail and Yahoo) are not receiving our emails. Be sure to always check your junk mail folder and allow our messages to go directly to your inbox. We very rarely send mass emails and, when we do, it's of major importance to all of our members.

Fractured Atlas has formed two new partnerships this quarter! 3rd Ward
(www.3rdwardbrooklyn.org) in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is our newest Open Arts Network member and Theater Extras (www.theaterextras.com) is a new partner in the Audience Development Program we announced last quarter. And, if you're a Fractured Atlas member, you can now receive significant discounts to both organizations - so be sure to check the Special Offers for Members section of our Support Forum!

This coming year, we're going to be adding some terrific new programs and services to our already burgeoning list - be sure to check our website frequently for updates!
