Wisconsin Early Voices

Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque choral music for Wisconsin

Help us spread the joy of early music!

As a collaboration between two choral chamber ensembles — Eliza's Toyes, in Madison, WI; and Schola Cantorum of Eau Claire, in the Chippewa Valley area — Wisconsin Early Voices bring early music to life through creative and well-researched programming of motets, madrigals and other music from Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque periods.

Eliza's Toyes has been established since 2008. First as an ad hoc collective of singers from the Madison Early Music Festival, it has since established itself as Madison's early music ensemble. Toyes has been invited to perform at the Wisconsin Public Radio, Sunday Afternoon from the Chazen, Wisconsin Science Festival, and the Heyde Center for the Arts at Chippewa Falls.

Schola Cantorum of Eau Claire is a newly established chamber choir. With Eau Claire as its base, the ensemble aims to further early music across northern Wisconsin and beyond.
