Pipeline Theatre Company
Pipeline Theatre Company is non-profit theater company started by a group of emerging actors, directors, writers and designers based in downtown Manhattan. Pipeline has already produced six full-length productions in New York, countless one-acts, a few evenings of entirely new work, and many short films.
We are a community of artists committed to making collaborative works in theater and film. We aim to cultivate an environment where new voices can be heard. Motivated by a sense of wonder and curiosity, we explore stories truthfully and wholeheartedly. With every story we tell, we empower our audiences to find the joy of the human struggle.

Pipeline just produced a reading of Nate Weida's I's Twinkle, Purgatory as part of Magic Time at Judson Memorial Church, and is gearing up for it's next full length production: The Ash Girl. The Ash Girl, written by Timberlake Wertenbaker, will be directed by Carl Forsman, back at the beautiful space at The Connelly Theater!
The Caucasian Chalk Circle won a New York Innovative Theater Awards for Best Music, and received a citation for Outstanding Off-off Broadway Production from the Independent Theater Bloggers Association!
COMMUNITY BUILDING/LARGER GOALS:
We will continue hosting the 'Brave New Works' series, which features emerging theater companies from the area.
BRAVE NEW WORKS: FIFTH EDITION will coincide with the run of The Ash Girl, and be bigger (more companies and TWO nights of work!!) and better (duh!) than ever before!
The purpose of this evening, which is donation-based and open to the public, is to build a community of New York-based emerging theater companies. All very unique, all with their own voice. Pipeline wants to cultivate these relationships, which will hopefully lead to bigger, crazier projects in the future.
