A Curious Workshop

A Curious Workshop offers a year-round series of unique workshops for 4-14 year olds that induce wonder and spark enthusiasm for the world around us. We consider play, the mysterious work of the child, to be an advanced and sophisticated endeavor, profoundly central to a child’s individual development and theories about the world. Our workshops explore the intersections between art and science, encouraging discovery through free play, tinkering, and imagination. We seek to foster a love of learning, a ferocious appetite for problem-solving, and an propensity for collaboration, in a culturally and economically diverse community of young San Franciscans.

A Curious Workshop is volunteer-run, and offers sliding scale tuition to all of our participants.
