WANTED: Crohn's End
When conventional treatment options don’t work, you have to listen to your gut.
Documentary filmmaker Reid Bryant Kimball is currently writing, directing and producing his first film, WANTED: Crohn’s End.
Reid’s debut film focuses on the stories of just a few of the over 1.5 million in the US alone suffering from inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. These people use alternative treatments to combat their symptoms, and have been finding success where conventional medicine has not.
As an empowered Crohn’s disease patient, WANTED: Crohn’s End plots Reid’s journey to integrate some of these alternatives into his own healing regimen, documenting his successes and failures. His hope is that this film will help millions with incurable digestive conditions to overcome the debilitating symptoms they have suffered their entire lives.
The film’s trailer, edited by Reid and released in October 2010, has already excited thousands of viewers and assisted in gathering over eleven-thousand dollars for the project.
