Vagina Festival

A visual and performance art experience

VAGINA FESTIVAL is an opportunity to have conversations we don't typically get to have. In ways we don't typically get to have them.

Through visual art, performance, speaker presentations and interactive activities, Vagina Festival forms a welcoming space for exploring sexuality, body image, personal identity, health and well-being.

At Vagina Festival, we exchange ideas, challenge cultural norms and celebrate women.
Our aim is to engage people by creating a fun, moving, thought-provoking experience. Join us!

Attend, perform, speak, exhibit, sponsor, promote—participate in creating Vagina Festival! The conversation begins at

Vagina Festival is a collaboration among artists and the community. It is made possible by donations of time, energy and funds from volunteers and sponsors, who are passionate about bringing people together and stimulating conversation.

Organized by artist-activist, Alexandra Jacoby, Vagina Festival is an outgrowth of her documentary project, vagina vérité ®—an unabashed exploration of the plain, ordinary, mysterious matter of vaginas. So we can see ourselves for ourselves.

Vagina Festival takes place Oct. 24-26, 2008 at Sage Theater, 711 Seventh Avenue, 2nd Floor, NYC.

Sponsorship is inactive or expired. Fractured Atlas cannot accept donations for the purposes of Vagina Festival at this time.
