E&O Insurance
Members of Fractured Atlas can purchase Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance to cover their film, video, multimedia, performances, and other artistic works requiring this insurance.
Insurance is provided on an annual basis by an A++ rated carrier. The E&O insurance policy covers lawsuits regarding any act, error, omission, defamation, invasion of privacy, emotional distress, copyright/trademark infringement, or misappropriation that results from your film/video/artistic work.
How Much Does it Cost?
Every policy is different, but policies for projects with budgets under $250,000 have been about $2,750. This will provide $1,000,000 in coverage (per occurrence and in the aggregate) with a $5,000 deductible (per occurrence). Higher limits and deductibles are available upon request.
How Long Does it Take?
We try to get you a quote within a week, though it can take longer. If you like it, you can purchase the policy instantly online. You can then request certificates as proof of coverage through our website.
