Members of Fractured Atlas can purchase Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance to cover their film, video, multimedia, performances, and other artistic works requiring this insurance. Thanks to the combined purchasing power of thousands of filmmakers in the Fractured Atlas community, this coverage is available at significantly lower rates than would otherwise be possible.
Insurance is provided on an annual basis by an A++ rated carrier. Their E&O insurance policy covers lawsuits regarding any act, error, omission, defamation, invasion of privacy, emotional distress, copyright/trademark infringement, or misappropriation that results from your film/video/artistic work.
How Much Does it Cost?
We're not an insurance company and we can't guarantee any particular rate. However, we can report that to date, policies for projects with budgets under $250,000 have been about $2750. This will provide $1,000,000 in coverage (per occurrence and in the aggregate) with a $5,000 deductible (per occurrence). Higher limits and deductibles are available upon request.
