Pronouns She/Her

Madi Kaplan (she/her) is a theatre performer, creative, and entrepreneur. Raised in northern NJ, she is a current sophomore at NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study pursuing a concentration in social entrepreneurship and performing arts. Madi has performed in, choreographed, produced, and directed dozens of shows, but is most passionate about her theater non-profit company that she co-founded when she was 16, Theater Leadership for Change, a student-led organization that produces full musicals every year and partners with thematically related charities to raise awareness and funds. She is extremely passionate about business development and non-profit work, specifically in regards to art being used as a tool for social change. In her free time, you can find her heading to a pilates class, trying out cool new coffee shops, or watching La La Land for the hundredth time.
